When New Balance made its debut in Saudi Arabia, we were challenged to increase brand awareness and promote the iconic 327 shoes in a market where New Balance wasn't top of mind for sportswear. To tackle this, we knew we needed a local touch. We partnered with "The Saudi Reporters," renowned content creators, to bring their vibrant personality to the 327 campaign.
Our campaign launched online across New Balance's social media platforms and was amplified by The Saudi Reporters, garnering impressive views, creating buzz and sparking conversations among their followers. On ground, the campaign was supported by static and video content in New Balance and Foot Locker stores. Not only did the campaign boost brand awareness significantly, but it also led to a surge in sales of the 327 shoes.
This successful collaboration also marked the beginning of a fruitful partnership with The Saudi Reporters, who became official New Balance brand ambassadors for the MENA region.
