Said No One Ever

When Virgin Mobile launched in the UAE, we wanted to show why switching to Virgin Mobile was a smarter choice than sticking with traditional telecom providers.

Unlike the established telco giants, Virgin Mobile offered a fully digital experience, providing customers with unmatched flexibility, choice, and fair deals.

To engage our young, digitally savvy target audience, we introduced "Said No One Ever"—a super-sarcastic, super social meme-style campaign that cut through the noise. With a cheeky tone, we highlighted Virgin Mobile’s unique features, appealing to those frustrated by conventional telco restrictions.

The campaign rolled out across social and digital media, supported by print, outdoor, and radio activations. The results were impressive: a 10% jump in brand awareness in just one month, a 24% view-through rate on YouTube pre-rolls, 48,000 app downloads, 87,000 Google searches for "Virgin Mobile," a reach of 5 million on social media, and 3.5 million on YouTube. And more importantly, Virgin Mobile quickly became a top-of-mind brand across the UAE.
